Two short rectangular cists and two unprotected extended skeletal burials were found in sand pits on a spur extending E from a ringwork (KK023-080----) in 1838. Both cists contained cremated bones. One cist contained a lidded food vessel and the other contained two food vessels resting on the sidestones. The exact location of this flat cemetery is unknown. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
