A building, possibly a ruinous castle, is indicated on the Down Survey (1655-6) barony map of Sheelogher, ‘Sheelelogher’ (Hibernia Regnum, courtesy of Trinity College Dublin), in Tullohaune townland which equates with the modern townland of Grove. It is indicated as being immediately E of a church (KK023-030001-) and is likely to be the castle which occupied the castle-mound/motte (KK023-032----) which is associated with the deserted settlement (KK023-031001-) E of the medieval church. The castle is not visible at ground level.
