Prendergast (1977, 267) refers to a number of fulacht fia, including one ‘in Raheen near Cuffesgrange (sheet 23)’. No other locational or descriptive information is provided. There is no Raheen townland on OS 6-inch sheet 23, however the townland of Raheenduff borders the village of Cuffesgrange so it is likely that the fulacht fia is located within that townland, though the precise location is unknown.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
