On the brow of an E-facing slope in marshland with limited views from NNW-N-E. A large circular enclosure (diam. c. 80m) is indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map, defined by a wide bank. On the 1947 revision OS 6-inch map it is similarly indicated, though a field boundary is shown surrounding the perimeter on the external base of the bank. The bank appears to have been levelled, with only the curvilinear field boundary remaining, though it may incorporate the outer perimeter of the enclosure. In the SSE-S-SW sector, where there is no field boundary, satellite imagery (Digitalglobe, viewed 4 August 2021) indicates a wide fosse (Wth c. 5m).
