What is recorded here

According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 435), in Kilbraghan, ‘St. Brachan’s holy well, called Tubbervrachawin, is in the second field to the north of the site of the churchyard [KK022-011002-]’. On the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map a stream is indicated flowing from a field boundary c. 130m NNE of the graveyard. The stream possibly rises from a spring at this point and may be where the holy well was located. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 27 May 2021
