Overgrown with trees and scrub, in pasture. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as a square enclosure (dims. c. 38m N-S and E-W) with an adjoining pond (dims. c. 20m NW-SE; c. 15m NE-SW) at the S end of the E side. Three other similarly sized natural ponds are indicated c. 10-20m to the SE, S and SW. On the 1899-1900 revision of the OS 6-inch map the enclosure is depicted as being sub-circular (diam. c. 45-50m). A field boundary runs E-W c. 5m N of the N perimeter.
