On a gentle NE-facing slope of glacial till that leads down to the Monefelim River. Excavated in 2008 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3852). A possible cremation pit in which the single cremation deposit was located centrally. Large pieces of human bone were present. A cremation pit (KK021-045----) lay c. 5m to the S and a Neolithic structure (KK021-043---) lay c. 9m to the SE. (Devine and Zimny 2009; Devine 2010, 245-6, 923)
