Within the medieval church of Kylebeg (KK020-057001-). When noted by Hewson (1893, 208) the font, 'lies broken and half buried in the ground, and concealed in grass, between the north-east corner of the church and the public road'. The font was subsequent moved inside the church and now rests against the N wall of the nave, immediately E of the doorway. A plain limestone font is square in plan (dims. 0.56m x 0.56m; H 0.25m) and has a circular basin (int. diam. 0.41m; D 0.22m; rim T 0.04m) with a small drain-hole at its center. The base (dims. 0.45m x 0.4m) has a groove (Wth 0.02m) to receive the bowl and the surface is incised with an X.
