Immediately S of a public road. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 1900 revision as 'Tobernanaspog'. Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 361) mentions this well as, 'Tubbernanaspug, or the Well of the Bishops'.
