Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as a roughly D-shaped enclosure (dims. c. 43m NNE-SSW; c. 36m WNW-ESE; with a straight edge L c. 32m along the E side) incorporated in a field boundary running NNE-SSW. A townland boundary is shown running roughly E-W c. 7m N of the enclosure and a stream, which also acts as a townland boundary, flows NE-SW c. 40m to the W. The enclosure is not depicted on the 1900 revision which suggests it was levelled between 1839 and 1900. The raised outline of the monument is visible on satellite imagery (Google Earth Pro, imagery date 27 January 2019).
