At St Mary's parish church (KK019-026115-) in Kilkenny. A fragment (L 0.64m; Wth 0.42m), composed of fossiliferous limestone, of a 16th-century chest tomb or ledger, probably a mensa set into the E wall of the Bryan Vault (KK019-026281-) in the church (Bradley 1980, 10, no. 24). The inscription in raised relief Latin blackletter reads:
BURGES’ VILLOE KILKENIE Q ...
It translates as, ... burgess of the town of Kilkenny who [died].....
