What is recorded here

At St Mary's parish church (KK019-026115-) in Kilkenny. Two fragments (L 0.27m x Wth 0.4m; L 0.4m x Wth 0.38m) of a 13th/14th-century effigy, made from fossiliferous limestone. Reused in the external elevation of a lancet window jamb in the E wall of the S transept of the church. Both fragments have been re-shaped into chamfered blocks to match the existing 13th-century chamfered jambs of the lancet window. The stones are decorated with an incised design of an arm that terminates in an extended hand with a cross. The cross has rounded termini and a boss.
