In pasture. Indicated on the 1st (1839-40) ed. OS 6-inch map and the 1945-6 revision as a circular enclosure (int. diam. c. 30-35m) enclosed by wide fosse (Wth c. 8m). A townland boundary runs immediately W of the monument, kinking out to avoid it. It is heavily overgrown with trees.
