What is recorded here

According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 497) in Brabstown townland, close to St. Margaret's holy well [KK018-038001-], 'is pointed out an ancient churchyard, a large portion of which was carted away for manure by a former owner. There are no remains of the church'. The precise location of this church and graveyard are unknown. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 7 July 2020

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
