On the fairly gentle S-facing slope of a valley running roughly NE-SW, in reclaimed grassland. There are very good views to the E, S and W and moderate to the N. A roughly circular platform (diam. 42m N-S; 44m E-W) defined by scarp (H 0.5-1.5m) and enclosed by a fosse (Wth 2.5m; D 0.6m). There are slight traces of an outer bank, though this may be the remains of a field boundary. There is a causewayed entrance (Wth 6m) in the E sector. It has been widened to facilitate farm machinery but it is likely to be the original entrance.
