In an upland river valley running NW-SE, at the base of an E-facing slope. This burnt mound was uncovered by the local landowner during land reclamation of the area. A large circular mound (10m NE-SW; 15m NW-SE; approx. H 1-1.5m) of fire-cracked sandstone with some charcoal visible within the matrix of the exposed soil. There is no evidence of a trough or any depression within the mound which may suggest a possible trough area. The depth and volume of the burnt stone (approx. D 2m) may suggest that this mound has been formed as a result of industrial activity. A fulacht fiadh (KK015-078----) is located approx. 100m to the N.
