At the SE end of a tree-plantation, in very poor wet soil. Located near the highest point in the area, above the 1,000ft contour. A mound (diam. 10m SW-NE; 3m N-S; H 4m) of stone and earth, much degraded and quarried into. Cut by a field fence and partially cut away for a modern shed to the SE, where the land drops 6m. Although the mound is mainly of stone it is impossible to properly determine its nature due to the level of destruction.
