In rolling reclaimed grassland. Identified as a roughly circular cropmark (diam. c. 56m) on an aerial photograph (GSI S 447, 1973-7), though only an arc of the enclosing element, from NW-SE is visible. This arc is also visible as an OS Ortho image (2 March 2016). The monument is truncated by a townland boundary running NNE-WSW across the NE quadrant. This enclosure is not visible at ground level.
