Set in a slight hollow on an undulating terrace in reclaimed grassland. Good visibility to the E. A poorly preserved cashel (diam. c. 32m) conjoined to another cashel (KK015-002----) at SW. Indicated on the OS 25-inch map as an area of loose stones and visible on an aerial photograph taken in 1969 (CUCAP, AYP 18).
