What is recorded here

Aerial photograph (GB89.V.05) shows cropmark of a curvilinear fosse demarcating a large semi-circular enclosure (dims. c. 100m E-W; c. 80m N-S), with the Dineen River, flowing E-W, forming the N side. A second enclosure (KK014-135----) defined by a broad fosse, with an entrance facing SE, intersects with this enclosure; it is unclear which is the primary enclosure. A stable yard has been built at the intersection of the two enclosures. Compiled by: Dr. Gillian Barrett for the Archaeological Survey of Ireland Date of upload: 8 May 2012
