Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 208) in his description of Ardaloo townland mentions, 'there are two or three raths in the northern division of the townland, but none of them of any consequence'. There are no enclosures indicated in this townland on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map or the 1946-7 revision. The location of the 'raths' (KK014-088001-/KK014-088002-) within the townland is unknown.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
