On a terrace on the W side of a valley running N-S, with land dropping down to the valley floor to the E, in waterlogged pasture. There are fair to good views in all directions. An oval, raised area (diam. 30m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.2m; Wth 3m) and outer fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.3m). The monument is very overgrown and the interior waterlogged. Some drainage has been put in at the lower side of the monument (Doyle 1981).
