On top of a NW-SE gravel ridge along the E side of the Nore river valley, in rolling grassland. There are fair to good views in all directions. A curvilinear enclosure, possibly D-shaped (diam. c. 60m) delimited by fosse, identified as a cropmark on an aerial photograph (CUCAP BOD029 and BOD032, 10 July 1973) with another circular enclosure (KK014-053002-) located immediately to the NW, possibly conjoined. The field has been quarried and the extent of the quarrying is visible on satellite imagery (Google Earth 20 November 2005 and 8 March 2010) which shows that both enclosures have been badly damaged and perhaps largely removed. Subsequently the quarry appears to have been filled in and the land reclaimed for agriculture (Google Earth 21 April 2019). There is another enclosure (KK014-054----) c. 50m to the SE.
See attached aerial photographs (CUCAP BOD029 and BOD032, 10 July 1973)
