On the floor of a small N-S river valley, with the stream running NW-SE past the NE quadrant, in waterlogged pasture. There are fair-good views within the valley. A circular area (int. diam. 30m) enclosed by a bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.5m; Wth 2.5m), external fosse (Wth 2m; D 1m) and outer bank (ext. H 0.5m; Wth 5m). There are entrances through both banks at E (inner bank gap Wth 3m; outer bank Wth 2m)and NW (inner bank gap Wth 1m; outer bank Wth 3m). There is a slightly raised rectangular platform (dims. 10m N-S; 7m E-W) in the E quadrant of the interior.
