On the NE side of a small NW-SE valley, at the junction of the valley floor and the gently rising lower slopes, in reclaimed grassland. Views are confined to within the valley. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and the 1900 revision, it is depicted on the 25-inch OS map as an oval enclosure (dims. c. 31m N-S; c. 22m E-W). The monument has been levelled and is not visible at ground level.
