On the SW side of a small valley running NW-SE, at the point where the valley floor meets the gently rising valley sides, in reclaimed grassland. Views are limited to valley. A roughly circular area (int. dims. 47m N-S; 52m E-W), raised above the external field level (H c. 1m) and enclosed by a flat-topped bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 2m; Wth at crest 2m; overall Wth 3m) and an external fosse (Wth 2m; D 1.2m), which is only visible in the W sector as it is infilled elsewhere. The bank is best preserved in the W quadrant, with only a slight remnant in the N sector and it does not survive in the E and S quadrants. There is an entrance in the E quadrant which may be the original and if so it has been modified in recent times but creating a earthen access ramp.
