In rolling grassland at transition from slope of valley side to fairly flat valley floor. Moderate views along and across valley. On an aerial survey by Simon Dowling (30 December 2014) a rectangular structure defined by fosse is visible 10m NNE of the NE angle of a graveyard (KK013-060002-). This structure (dims. 12m x 6m), aligned NE-SW, appears to be the same as that identified during a field inspection in 1987. (National Monument files). This platform structure (H 0.2m) is surrounded by a fosse (Wth 1.3m) and low outer bank (int. H 0.43m; ext. H 0.22m; Wth at top 0.7m; overall Wth 2m). There is a large wide bank immediately N of this structure which may form the S bank of a possible hollow-way (KK013-060007-).
