What is recorded here

On the fairly steep E side of valley, a little above the valley floor, in reclaimed grassland. There are fair to good views in all directions, except upslope to the E. A circular area (int. diam. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.5m; Wth at crest 2m; overall Wth 3m) and wide, flat-bottomed external fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.75m). There is a causewayed entrance (Wth 2.5m) at the NW. The interior was wet and cattle poached when visited in the winter of 1987, with trees growing around the bank and some in the interior.
