What is recorded here

On a N-facing slope of a small NW-SE valley, high above the point where it gives into a larger E-W valley, in reclaimed grassland. Land dropping steeply into valleys to N, E and S and rising to the NW. There are very good views in all directions except to the NW. A sub-circular area (max. dims. 27m E-W; 18m N-S) bounded by a low, wide earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1m; Wth at crest 1m; overall Wth 3m) from E-S-W. There is a possible original entrance (Wth 2.5m) at S. A townland boundary runs NE-SW through the W quadrant and the bank does not survive above ground W of this boundary.
