On a terrace of a N-facing slope, in reclaimed land under grass. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and on subsequent 1900 revision as a roughly circular enclosure (dims. c. 35m N-S; c. 37m E-W), the S quadrant being truncated by a road running E-W along the S side. When visited in 1987 only an arc of the levelled stoney bank (Wth 4m) was visible from W-N-E.
