In an area of woodland and not indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map. A circular area (diam. c. 68-70m) bounded by wide, low earthen bank from N-E-S with traces of a shallow external fosse from NE-E-SE. The interior is overgrown with trees and scrub. The bank and fosse in the SW quadrant have been truncated by a public road which runs NW-SE where it meets the monument.
