In a flat river valley, c. 100m N of the Nuenna River and c. 10m N of a mill race which run parallel to the river, in grass. The OS Letters (1839) mention, 'a well near the Mills of Cloghmanta called by the inhabitants Tubber Muire (Tobermurry) i.e., Lady's Well. It is held in no veneration at present' (O'Flanagan ed. 1930, vol. 1, 167 (55)). This spring well, known locally as 'Lady Well', is enclosed by a concrete pumphouse and there are no traces of religious devotion. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 23 July 2019
