On a valley floor in flat grassland. There are quite good views in all directions. A roughly oval area (int. dims. 27m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by scarp (H 0.6m) and an external fosse (Wth 4.5m; D 0.6m). The grassy interior is slightly dished (falling to D c. 0.3m at centre). There is an entrance (Wth 4.5m) with a causeway over the fosse in the W quadrant. There are trees and scrub growing around the perimeter.
