On a gentle S-face slope, in the upper slopes of on the side of a valley, in reclaimed grassland. There are good views in all directions. Shown as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map with a lime kiln c. 15m to the N. It is not depicted on the 1900 revision of the OS 6-inch map suggesting it was levelled between 1839 and 1900. A field boundary, with farm track along the W side, runs NW-SE across the levelled enclosure. It is not visible at ground level.
