What is recorded here

A little below the crest of a bluff between two valleys, in tillage and grassland. There are good views in all directions. A circular raised platform (diam. c. 48m N-S; c. 51m E-W) defined by scarp (H 2.8m) and a flat-bottomed, steep-sided external fosse (Wth 3.5m; D 1.8m), which is largely infilled at E. The raised nature of this monument suggests it may be a ringwork rather than a ringfort. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 12 June 2019
