What is recorded here

On a natural hillock on the W side of small valley, amid rolling grassland. There are good views in all directions. A roughly circular area (int. diam. c. 35m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H c. 1.5m). The monument is enclosed by a field boundary, partly earthen bank and partly stone wall. There is an entrance (Wth 2.5m) in the W quadrant. The interior is irregular, probably following the natural topography, though it may also be the result of quarrying. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 11 June 2019
