On the edge of a slight ridge running NE-SW, with a road running NE-SW immediately to the E, in rolling grassland. There is good local visibility. A circular area (int. diam. 24m) enclosed by low earthen bank (overall Wth 3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2.2m), external fosse (Wth 2.5m; D O.3m) and outer bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.3m), which is best preserved in the S and E quadrants. There is an entrance at the SE with gaps in both banks and a causeway across the fosse. There are traces of drystone internal revetment on the bank in the S sector.
