According to O'Kelly (1969, 37) there is, 'one small rath near the Nore' in Clintstown townland. There is no enclosure indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map or the subsequent 1947 revision. If O'Kelly is correct, the location of this enclosure within the townland is unknown.
