In an area of old stream beds, between the steep slope down to the Dinin river and the broad terrace, cut by the River Douglas, and eventually rising to eastern uplands. A fulacht fia noted by Prendergast (1955, 10). The field has been reclaimed and was under long grass when visited in 1987. The fulacht fia is not visible at ground level.
