On gently sloping land just above a steep slope to the Dinin river, c. 450m to the SE, in rolling grassland. There are fairly good views in all directions, though the land rises gently to the N. A roughly circular platform (max. dims. c. 30m N-S; 28m E-W) bounded by a low, wide earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.2m) and fosse (Wth c. 2m; D 0.4m). Traces of the external fosse only remain in the S and W sectors. There are two entrances, at the SE (Wth c. 8m) and SW (Wth 6m), one of which is probably originally but has been widened. The interior slopes slightly to the S following the natural fall in slope. The monument is enclosed within a small field.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
