On the gentle W-facing slope above the river Gloshia c. 1km to the E. There are good views across and along valley from N to S, view limited to W by rising ground. A medieval church (KK010-038001-) is located within the southern portion of a graveyard. According to the OS Letters (1839, 27-9), ‘the burying ground at the Church is large and much frequented’ (O’Flanagan ed. 1930, vol. 1, 9-10). An irregularly, though roughly triangular-shaped graveyard (dims. c. 50m NW-SE; c. 45m ENE-WSW; c. 40m NE-SW) occupies the N quadrant of a crossroads. The graveyard is enclosed by hedgerow and a stone wall.
