On a slight E-W slope just below the crest of hills on the W side of the Nore river valley, in rolling grassland. There are excellent views to N, S and W across and along the valley. A circular area (int. diam. 29m) enclosed by a low earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H c. 1m) with slight traces of an external fosse. The interior slopes slightly to the W. There is an entrance (Wth 1.5m) at S.
