On a flat cultivated valley floor, in tillage. There are good views in all directions. A roughly square enclosure (dims. c. 35m N-S and E-W) with rounded corners, showing as cropmark on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BGG 63), with a possible entrance on the E side. It is not visible at ground level. The zig-zagging townland boundary immediately N of the enclosure has been removed.
