On the crest of a ridge with commanding views across the Gloshia river valley to the SW, the Deen river valley to the E and across the S end of the ridge towards the River Dinin, in rolling pasture. Centrally placed within a moated site (KK010-012----) are the foundations of a large rectangular building (dims. c. 13m NW-SE; c. 5.7m NE-SE), probably a house, aligned NW-SE. It is faintly visible at ground level (Barry 1977, 189), but clearly visible on an aerial photograph (ASIAP (201) 37, 14 March 2001).
