On gentle S-facing slope in rolling grassland. Good views across valley to S and W and river plain to E. Identified as an oval enclosure (dims. c. 82m NE-SW; c. 70m NW-SE) on an aerial photograph (GSI S421) and visible on OS ortho imagery. A curving field boundary, visible on the 1st (1839) and revised (1900) ed. OS 6-inch map formed the NW boundary of the monument, however, by 1987 this had been removed and the field tilled. The enclosure is not visible at ground level.
