On the Down Survey (1655-6) Agharny parish map, a gabled house with a single chimney is depicted in the SE portion of the townland, W of the road. Beneath this depiction there is a smaller house and between the two is written, 'a little stone house'. The accompanying terrier describes, 'at Parksgrove a little stone house and some thatcht houses'. The location of this house within the townland is unknown. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
