On the W-facing slope of a valley, just above the boggy valley floor, in rough pasture. There are good views in all directions. A roughly circular area (diam. 30m) defined by an earthen bank, best preserved at W (Wth 2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m), only visible as slight terrace at E (ext. H 0.3m). Bisected by a modern field boundary running NE-SW across the interior.
