On a hill in an area of rock outcrop and scrubland recently cleared for grazing. Good views to W. A sub-circular area (int. diam. 30.3m) enclosed by a flat-topped, stoney bank and narrow fosse. Bank (ext. H 1.5m; max. Wth 3.4m) best preserved from E-S-W; to NW-W it is heavily overgrowth and overlain with field clearance material. Fosse (Wth 1.1m) is discernible from SE-S-SW-W; elsewhere it has been infilled. Near the centre, in the SE quadrant there is a house site (KK009-005001-). Possible entrance visible to NW (Wth 3.1m) may have been widened by livestock. Adjoining the fosse to N and S are field walls (KK009-005002-) employing large blocks of rock outcrop which may be of considerable antiquity. There is a large enclosure (KK009-092----) immediately to the S.
