In a flat low-lying valley floor but above the flood plain, in rolling grassland. On a very slight eminence giving good views all round, though land does rise slightly to N. There are bogs to the N and W. A circular area (int. dim. 28.5m) enclosed by low stoney bank (Wth c. 2m; int. H c. 0.4m - rising to 0.95m in E quadrant; ext. H c. 0.8m). The entrance (Wth c. 2.4m) is in the S quadrant. There is a large hollow in the E half of the interior and smaller hollows in the NW and SW sectors.
