Situated just below a break in slope between a level plateau and lower valley area, in rolling grassland. A circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by a fosse (Wth 3.5m; D c. 0.4-0.5m). When inspected in 1987 much of the interior of the monument had been quarried.
